Welcome to Pandas Cosy Crochet!
My name is Crystal and my crochet journey began as a hobby that helped me to relax my mind during difficult times at university, it was a cosy escape away from the stresses of everyday life, into the world of creativity.
As my skills developed, I used them to make gifts for my friends and family. Seeing the impact that my creations could make on others, I realised that I wanted to share my cute creations with everyone else!
My partner then helped me set up my very own Etsy Shop to get my creations out there! Although the beginning was difficult, Pandascosycrochet is now a lovely small business that I am proud to call my own!

What makes me different?
I am proud to integrate sustainable practices into my creations wherever possible. I use the stuffing from old pillows and duvets to breathe new life into what would otherwise be, discarded materials, reducing waste. In addition, I make sure that any unused material from previous projects is used in the next, minimizing waste and adding a unique touch to my creations, so that each has a story of its own.
A significant portion of my pieces are also crafted from milk cotton yarn, a biodegradable alternative to standard yarn. In addition to its luxurious softness, this yarn boasts exceptional qualities, including being bacteriostatic, odour-free, and breathable. Its qualities make it an Ideal choice for wearables that come in contact with the skin, and an excellent choice for those with sensitive skin or allergies.
The natural qualities of milk cotton yarn reduce the need for chemicals during manufacturing, contributing to a healthier and eco-friendly product approach. Paired with organic cotton, it creates a fully biodegradable yarn, aligning with my commitment to sustainable and responsible practice.
